While waiting for a family to come for a photo shoot, I had the opportunity to photograph some plants around the Arlington Garden, in Pasadena CA.

Here I share with you some of them. Rosemary is the only one I recognized, the smell is incredible!!!

Making the Session

When I get to use the camera with no interruptions on time or other things, I enjoy the moment... some times I just need more battery on the camera and more light... I really enjoy this fun hobby.

Our children, the most precious treasure

Time flies and when we realize our children are grown. Maybe they take us out of our senses sometimes, but we love them immensely; chase as they play, teach them values, show them the right path ... That's our job as parents ... Let's enjoy the way!

Do not open until december....

Great day spent at Malibu Beach -El Matador- with Caroline and Sebastian for a photo session. They are expecting their first baby this december... Sun was incredible!! Isn't beautiful? We had the opportunity to see this awesome sunset. Thank you guys for letting me take care of your photo shoot of this special moment on your life... Looking forward to meet your beautiful baby girl!! 

Newborn Sessions

 Newborn photography can be so much fun – The photographer gets to spend some time with a new baby, and they don’t have the responsibility of getting up in the middle of the night for crying, and feeding. Newborn photography can be really difficult as well. Newborns are the ones who dictate the session. They pee, and poop, which can make post processing quite challenging. Here is some advice to consider when bringing your newborn to a session:

• Make sure you set your appointment in advance before your baby is born. That way we can talk about what you can expect from the session, and what kind of ideas I can suggest for you, and your newborn.

• It is better if the baby is 10 days old, or less. It will be easier to swaddle them, move them, or set them in certain positions. That is how I will be able to get the best photos, within those first few days.

• Newborns take a lot of time, and patience to photograph. The session could be from between 2-3 hours.

•  If a newborn is rooting, and not completely full, it will be very difficult to get the baby into a deep sleep. So I recommend that they eat before  coming to the photo session.  

• Look into the possibility of having the session at your own place, let me know =)

Baby GirL

This beautiful baby came last weekend. This picture is my favorite in this session because she's all smiles for me, as you can see. I'm happy because now I have the opportunity to practice with babies, little by little I'll take more experience in this kind of photos

We had a great time doing this first newborn session, it gave me more experience in these types of session. This is a little something from this day.

Squirrel

Yesterday when we were coming back from the pool, we found this little guy eating the peaches from the tree that is outside of our apartment; a few bites and he is full. I wonder if they know how to choose the best peach... it comes everyday to eat peaches, we saw it again today.

Flowers

In the past days, we went to the Flower District Market of Los Angeles to check prices for the flowers we will be getting for our wedding. I knew it was going to be something amazing to take my camera with me... so here they are, a few pictures from that day.
